Barry Gittins has been photographing weddings for over 16 years. Prior to this, his portfolio consisted mainly of illustrative and commercial advertising photography. It is this knowledge of art, graphics and the technical that he brings to wedding photography.

As a member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography, Barry has won many photographic awards nationally, including the Highest Scoring Contemporary Wedding Photograph in Victoria in 1995.

In 2000 Barry was nominated by the ABIA for Excellence in Wedding Photography.

In 2001 he was Highly Commended For Excellence in the photographic industry in customer relations and received an Australian Achiever award.

What this means to couples is that they can feel secure that their wedding day is not only going to be in the hands of someone who is a highly qualified photographer, but also someone who cares about and listens to their requirements.
